One of the main challenges in designing Volume 34 was achieving a minimalistic architectural language with real emotional and spatial depth—avoiding sterility or visual monotony. It was essential to generate richness not through ornament, but through composition, materiality, and the subtle play of light and shadow. Every volume, void, and transition had to express purpose and calm sophistication. The task demanded an extreme level of control in proportions, detailing, and material consistency, ensuring that the house communicated presence, elegance, and balance—without ever raising its voice.
The design process focused on precision, proportion, and restraint. Every element—materials, voids, shadows, and transitions—was curated to maintain architectural coherence while delivering emotional richness through space.
Volume 34 now stands as a signature project for CS.Taller. A home that embodies calm sophistication, honest materiality, and clarity in composition. It has become a spatial experience where minimalism is not emptiness, but a refined expression of presence.
For CS.Taller, Volume 34 was a canvas to elevate architectural silence into a powerful presence—where structure and soul coexist in every line.
